Emily Rentas is a licensed mental health counselor, life and business coach and consultant with over 12 years of experience in mental health, substance use, coaching, leadership, operations, grants, project management, and nonprofits. She is the founder of Paragon Solstice Inc (2018) a coaching, training and consulting company dedicated to helping individuals, businesses and organizations manage transition, transformation and integration. She serves as a board advisor at The Coneflower Institute, which focuses on education, advocacy, and research, to support the mental health ecosystem end the social stigma surrounding mental health conditions.
Her clinical expertise includes but is not limited to: ADD/ ADHD, anxiety, career, compassion fatigue, caregiver issues, women's health and issues, college students, life transitions, stress, and depression.
Emily has worked with underserved communities throughout New York City and across the United States within inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use settings, crisis services, case management, supportive housing, shelter services and federally qualified health centers. She earned her masters of mental health counseling at The City University of New York at Brooklyn College and has clinically worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups.
Emily is passionate about raising mental health awareness and expanding its education and treatment within disadvantaged communities particularly among immigrants and youth. Emily strongly believes in the importance of empowering leadership and improving wellness outcomes within students and organizations to create impact and resilience that leads to healthier communities.
